Montessori Wooden Shape Set

Set of 11 beautiful handcrafted wooden shapes packed in an organic cotton bag. Great for imaginative play and developing shape recognition skills. Inspired by Montessori and Waldorf philosophy, our set will make a hairloom quality educational tool.

Each set consists of a mix of shapes handcrafted from premium wood. The wood types used are: bird cherry, red oak, buckthorn, amur velvet, caragana, English oak, rowan, ash and hazel. (This is a list of the wood used, each set is entirely unique and may not include all the types listed, but a mix of some).

The shapes are sanded to a silky smooth finish and lightly coated with linseed oil. 

The shapes include spheres, cubes, cones, cylinders, triangular prisms, hexagonal prisms, pentagonal prisms, oval and ellipticals - each set will consist of these shapes. 

All the pieces are unique and the size of each varies between the smallest at approximately 2.5cm to the largest at approximately 9.5cm. Different sets may differ slightly.
