PLACING AN ORDER
By placing an order at happylittlefolks.com, you agree to have read and understood these terms and conditions.
Once you have placed an order and confirmed the payment of the goods, an email will be sent to you to inform you of the order having been received. At this moment you become bound by your order. After the goods are dispatched to the address you have provided during the ordering process, an email notification will be sent to you.
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value.
We will do our very best to keep the website up to date at all times. However, we cannot guarantee that items displayed will be available. We aim to process your order within 1-7 working days, subject to our current turnaround which will be displayed on the product info page. Should your desired products be out of stock or more time needed to complete it we will contact you via email. If we receive no response to our email, your remaining order will be processed and the product out of stock will be refunded.
Please read product descriptions carefully before placing an order.
Happy Little Folks accepts most major credit and debit cards as well as PayPal. Payment will be debited from your account prior to the order being despatched to you. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. In the event of a card refusal, we will not accept the order, we will not be liable for delay or non delivery.
Please note that all Happy Little Folks products include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. Our prices may change without prior notice at any time.
All charges and refunds are in UK Pound Sterling (£). Happy Little Folks cannot be held responsible for any loss due to exchange rate fluctuation.
We update all product descriptions with current turnaround times, so please look out for these (currently all "made to order" items might take up to 7 working days to make). Once your item has been completed we aim to dispatch within 1 working day. Rest of items will be dispatched within 48 hours. Please note that during busy times like sales or Christmas turnaround may increase by additional 24 hours.
If you need your item for specific date please contact us through our contact form or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Some items are ready to ship, but some items are "made to order" - you will find lead times for each product in their description, please look out for these (currently all items might take up to 3- 7 working days until they are dispatched). If you need your item sooner please message us through our contact form or e-mail email@example.com and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Happy Little Folks offers free UK delivery on all orders over £60. For orders below £60 a delivery charge of £3.95 is applied.
We use couriers (DPD, UPS, Parcel Force, Hermes) or Royal Mail for posting our items which can take from 2-5 working days. If you require a faster service please contact us before ordering.
All items are sent via Royal Mail Tracked or Standard (no tracking number available) delivery (4-10 working days). Non EU countries - we offer Royal Mail Signed For delivery (signature will be required upon receipt). For heavier parcels we use couriers (ParcelForce, DPD or UPS, these are usually delivered within 5 working days).
Rest of the World:
Royal Mail Tracked delivery (7-15 working days) or Standard (no tracking number available). We also use courier services for heavier parcels (over 2kg).

Please note that delays in delivering international mail do happen from time to time, so allow extra time for them to arrive, it should be delivered within 14 working days. Parcel is considered lost after 30 working days.
Happy Little Folks is not responsible for any import duties or additional taxes which may be payable on receipt.
If by mistake your address details are entered incorrectly and shipped, please be aware that we will charge shipping again to resend your order. Where the item has been sent free delivery a £3.95 shipping charge will apply to send it again.

Sorry we do not accept cancellations of any items which are hand painted to your colour choice. Nevertheless if you made a mistake please contact us and we will treat each case individually, try to help whenever possible. We are happy to cancel any order (apart from custom colour choices) which has not been shipped yet.
Happy Little Folks are happy to offer a full refund or exchange in case of damaged items, please return it to us within 14 days of receipt.
Any items which are not "made to order (e.g: custom colour choice) can be returned within 10 working days, if you are not happy with them. We will only accept returned items in their original condition and packaging. Most of our products is handmade and slight variations can and will occur but we're of course happy to work with you if you're unhappy with your purchase.
We do not offer refunds for any custom colour orders, unless they are faulty.
Faulty goods - in the unlikely event the we made a mistake with your order or sent a faulty item we will cover the cost of return.
HOW TO MAKE A RETURN
If you are not 100 % happy with your purchase, you are more than welcome to return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt. We will only accept items which are in perfect, unused and unwashed condition, in the original packaging.
Happy Little Folks reserves the right to inspect products before agreeing to any exchange or return. Buyer is responsible for the cost of postage.
Please follow the below steps:
1. Please email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org with your order number and reason for return or exchange.
2. Wrap up your item securely in original packaging.
3. Post your parcel and always keep your proof of postage.
Please post your goods back to us within 7 days of receipt. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be held responsible for items that do not arrive to us.

If a returned Item is shipped internationally, please clearly mark the package "RETURNED GOODS" to avoid any Custom fees. Happy Little Folks is not responsible for any return custom charges made. Any charges incurred are the responsibility of the customer.
Refunds will be made within 2 working days from the date we received your returned goods. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. Your personal data will also be stored in our Mailchimp and CRM accounts until you unsubscribe from our mailing list.
