Happy Little Folks is an indie wooden toy brand founded by Iga Sielenko in 2014.

She designs wooden toys, nursery decor and interior accessories for children and grown ups. All the products you find in our shop are non toxic and manufactured ethically using only natural and sustainable materials - safe for the little ones. We use plastic free, recyclable packaging.

We also stock ethical and quality wooden toys and homeware by other makers and artisans from Europe. We are passionate about supporting other small, eco conscious and independent businesses, we value their craftsmanship, quality and originality.

All products we stock in our shop are ethically handcrafted in Europe.

HOW IT ALL STARTED

Iga's biggest inspiration was birth of her son, Orson, back in July 2014, when she discovered a whole new world - a world of toys and children's room decor. She was also inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of Scandinavian and Japanese design, nature, Montessori and Waldorf education.

Happy Little Folks' mission is to create and stock unique, quality and eco-friendly wooden toys for the little ones, which will also be enjoyed by the grown ups. It is about connecting children with natural materials, helping them discover their creativity and let them be in charge of it.

Iga loved wooden toys since she was a child, they bring very special and happy memories.

"My toys and decor pieces are super cute and stylish, minimalistic designs will fit into many different interior styles and compliment any space. I put lots of love and care to each product I make and source and I want my designs to be enjoyed both by the parents and their little ones. "

Iga's workshop is based in a seaside town in East Sussex, she has moved there from E17, London in April 2021.

Wood used for our products comes from sustainable, FSC certified sources and paints are non toxic and toy-safe certified. Our toys are UKCA and CE tested.
